The 2016 Chevy Camaro SS is a vehicle that was built for performance. This commanding vehicle truly lives up to the Camaro name with an incredible engine and a drivetrain that is offered with four different driving modes. These modes include the Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice, and Track and they are each designed to offer the optimum level of performance for any situation that you might find yourself in. In case you were unsure about what each of these different modes offer we have a description of each below: Tour Mode - This is the most basic drive mode and it is ideal for everyday city and highway driving. In Sport Mode: Steering offers more precise control If your vehicle is equipped with Active Exhaust the valves will open sooner in Sport Mode Shifting is automatic and the vehicle will remain in a lower gear longer in response to vehicle lateral acceleration, braking, and throttle input. In vehicles with Magnetic Ride Control the suspension will provide better cornering. Competitive Driving Model will be accessible through this mode in the V8 models. In Snow/Ice Mode: Acceleration adjusts in order to make the launch smoother The vehicle will upshift normally when the vehicle is in motion There will be a difference in transmission shift in order to help maintain traction Track Mode (V8/SS models only) - This model is meant to be used when you require maximum vehicle handling. In Track Mode: The Automatic Transmission & steering function will be similar to Sport Mode The accelerator pedal adjusts in order to provide maximum control in the top level of spirited driving. Newest “Real People, Not Actors” Advertisement Explores Stereotypes
Every generation comes with its own set of stereotypes, and the millennial generation is no different. Society has a defined image of what they perceive the members of this generation to look and act line and Chevy recently decided to play off those stereotypes for their newest “Real People, Not Actors” advertisement. In the spot, groups of millennials were gathered together and the Chevy spokesperson showed them a mockup for a new advertisement for the 2016 Cruze that was designed to specifically target their generation. As he shows them some of the stills from the mockup, the groups begin offering their opinions stating that they feel the ad is too stereotypical and they don’t reflect who they feel they are as individuals. They then feel that trying to appeal to a stereotype is not a productive way to sell a vehicle and that the advertisement should focus more on the facts of the vehicle. It is at this point that the spokesperson opens the doors revealing the all-new 2016 Chevy Cruze and brings them over to it so that they can take a closer look as he tells them about all the specifics.

Chevy Is Highest Ranking Brand In 2016 J.D. Power IQS
The Chevrolet brand has taken home the most J.D. Power 2016 Initial Quality Study Awards for the fourth straight year. They had more vehicles from their lineup named to the top of their segment than any other brand in the industry with a total of five winners. The 2016 IQS was conducted from February through May 2016 and during that time more than 80,000 new car owners completed a 233-question survey that evaluated the overall satisfaction with their new vehicles after the first 90 days following lease or purchase. “These results play two critical roles in our strategy to bring new retail buyers to the brand,” said Alan Batey, Global Chevrolet president. “First, the study results will help attract new buyers to Chevrolet, as J.D. Power data shows ‘expected reliability’ is customers’ top purchase consideration for a new vehicle. Second, the improved ownership experience of our new vehicles will help convert first-time Chevrolet buyers into repeat customers, as J.D. Power indicates customers who have a positive experience in the first 90 days of ownership are more likely to become repeat buyers for the brand.” 2016 J.D.
